reAd tHese InstruCtIons CAreFuLLY BeFore use
When using electrical appliances there are precautions that need to be taken including the follow- -
ing:

Make sure the voltage of your mains power supply corresponds to the voltage indicated on the
recharger data label.

Do not use the appliance when empty.

Do not use the appliance to chop overly hard food (ice cubes for instance).

Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appliance is faulty; in
this case, take it to your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.

To prevent any risks, all repairs and/or replacement of the recharger or of the power cord, must
be performed by an Ariete Assistance Centre or by a similarly qualified person.

This appliance conforms to the 006/95/EC and EMC004/08/EEC directives.

The appliance operates by means of rechargeable batteries, therefore on replacing them do
not throw them out among normal waste but take them to the nearest Assistance Centre so
that they can be separated and disposed of in suitable waste containers, in compliance with
the environmental protection and recycling laws. Never throw batteries into fire.

Do not use the appliance if any liquid is leaking from the batteries; take it to your nearest As- -
sistance Centre to have the batteries replaced.

The appliance operates using rechargeable NiCd batteries and therefore, at the end of its
useful life, it must not be disposed of with normal household waste. It can be taken to a suit- -
able municipal collection centre for differentiated waste or to a retailer that offers this service.
Separate disposal of a household appliance makes it possible to avoid the potential negative
consequences for the environment and health resulting from incorrect disposal and it also al- -
lows the recovery of component materials and therefore, to obtain a significant saving in terms
of energy and resources. To remind you of the obligation for separate disposal of electrical
appliances, the product is marked with a mobile rubbish container that has been crossed out.
Never throw batteries into fire.
