2. Safety instructions
Only use your BERG product as instructed in this manual. Any unauthorized use could result in serious injury to the
user or damage the product.
BERG or the dealer cannot be held responsible for improper use of this product.
For safety reasons, unless BERG-approved, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
2.1 Safe relaxing area
• The product must be placed level, ensuring a minimum clearance of at least 2,20 meters from trees, fences and
any other surrounding obstacles.
• Place the product on an unpaved steady surface, such as grass. Do not install your product over concrete, asphalt
or any other hard surface.
• Objects and other obstacles that can interfere with using the product should be prohibited from the relaxing
area.
• Position the product in a way that accessories (e.g. hammocks) are not oriented directly towards full exposure
from the sun.
2.2 Safe installation
It is prohibited to make other combinations then the prescribed combinations listed on pages 3. The product should
be assembled in accordance with the assembly instructions. Review the assembled product prior to first use.
Please be aware the product has fixings with self-locking nuts. These self-locking nuts are for single use only and
must be replaced when dismantling and reinstalling the product.
• Adult assembly required.
• When installing the product ensure a minimum clearance of at least 2,20 meters from trees, fences and any
other surrounding obstacles.
• The product must be assembled according the detailed steps in the assembly manual.
• The product shall not be installed over concrete, asphalt or any other hard surface.
• The product must be installed according the detailed steps in the Assembly Manual to prevent the product from
overturning or lifting of the support members when they are used as intended or in a foreseeable way.
• The bottom frame must be buried according installation instructions in order to reduce tipping hazards. Pay
special attention to the mandatory installation depth.
• The bolt indicated on page 15 of the Assembly Manual should be at ground level or lower to achieve the minimal
installation depth.
• The adding of accessories must be carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Do not attach extra items to this product, such as ropes, chains, heavy cords or other items.
• Only add the add-ons mentioned on page 3 to the frame. Do not combine products of other manufacturers with
this product because they may create safety hazards.
2.3 Safe use
• Do not leave your child unattended!
• The hammock is not a swing device.
• It is forbidden to climb over the frame when the hammock is attached.
• The hammock and all parts of the attachment must be removed if the frame is used with outdoor fitness
equipment or toy accessories.
• Do not use the hammock / hanging seat if parts are damaged or lost.
• Only use the accessories and spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
