5.1.4 Screwing the studio flash unit to a

tripod
The tripod must be designed for the
weight and dimensions of the studio
flash unit.
Observe the information in the of the
tripod manufacturer's guide and
compare it to the technical data of the
studio flash unit (see chapter 13).
The tripod must be setup in such a way
that it cannot tip over and cannot slip.
- 1. Turn the screws of the tripod holder
counter-clockwise to loosen them.
- 2. Put the tripod holder
of the studio
flash unit onto the tripod.
- 3. Tighten the screws of the tripod hol-
der
in a clockwise direction.
- 4. Turn screw
of the tripod holder
of the studio flash unit counter-clockwi-
se to loosen it.
- 5. Tilt the studio flash unit to the
desired tilt position.
- 6. Tighten screw
for the tilt of
the studio flash unit in a clockwise
direction.
5.1.5 Connecting the studio flash unit to the
power mains
The studio flash unit must be switched
off.
The connected loads of the studio flash
unit (see chapter 13 Technical data)
must match the values of the local power
grid.
- Plug the power cord into the socket
on the studio flash unit.
- Plug the power plug into the power
socket.
5.1.6 Switching the studio flash unit on/off
You must remove the protective cap
before switching on the studio flash unit!
- Switching on the studio flash unit: Press power
