1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on
unintentionally by children or the user.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To re-
duce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the
plug in any way.

HOW TO OPERATE

BEFORE FIRST USE:

1. Unpack the appliance and all its parts. Remove all packaging materials,
including any stickers or labels.
2. Before using your appliance for the first time, wash the jar, ice deposit and
paddle in hot, soapy water or in the dishwater. Rinse and dry.
3. Read these instructions carefully.
4. Clean the surface of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a soft
cloth immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.
5. NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID.
