Changing the main filter
WARNING
Stirred up dust when changing the filter bag
and main filter
► Wear a dust mask.
► If you are disposing of asbestos, wear dis
posable clothing!

► Do not reuse the main filter once it has
been removed from the machine. Instead,
replace it with a new one.
NOTICE
Filter detection
► The mobile dust extractor is equipped with
a filter detection feature. The machine only
starts up with an original Festool HF CTH
26/48 main filter. The filter detection fea
ture must be tested during each filter
change to ensure it functions correctly.
► Open the locking clips [2-2] and remove the
top section of the machine [2-1].
► Rotate the top section of the machine so
that the main filter [9-1] is facing upwards
[9].
► Use a screwdriver to remove the two lock
ing screws [9-3] on the lever.
► Fold over the lever [9-4] and remove the re
tainer [9-2] with the main filter.
► Place the retainer with the main filter in the
safety bag supplied.
► Remove the main filter from the retainer.
► Take the retainer out of the safety bag.
► Seal the safety bag and dispose of it in ac
cordance with statutory regulations.
► Clean the area behind the main filter to re
move any dust deposits.

Emptying the dirt trap
The dirt trap [2-3] can be emptied once the top
section has been removed.

household waste! Recycle devices, ac
cessories and packaging. Observe appli
