2. When the screen shows the "S" icon, it means that the current channel is
not included in the scan list, and the channel will not be scanned during
scanning.
3. When the screen doesn´t show the "S" icon, it means that the current
channel has been added to the scan list, and the channel will be scanned
when scanning.
[EMG] key:
Emergency channel.
Short press the [EMG] key to enter the emergency channel function, the screen
displays the "EMG" icon.
1. Short press the [EMG] key once to choose the CH9.
2. Short press the [EMG] key twice to choose the CH19.
3. Short press the [EMG] key three times to return to the original channel.
[VOL/PUSH] knob:
Press and hold the [VOL/PUSH] knob for 2 seconds to enter the setting menu.
Multistandard mode:
Before using this radio, please check it has been programmed on the correct
frequency band and operating mode allowed by the regulations valid in the EU
Member State where it will be used. If not, please change the operation frequency
band.
This radio can be factory pre-programmed on a frequency band not allowed in the
country of use.
1. In the power off radio state, while press and hold the [A/F] key turn on the
radio; the multistandard code are displayed on the LCD.
2. Turn the [VOL/PUSH] knob or press the [UP] / [DN] key of the
microphone to select the multistandard code.
3. Turn off the radio to confirm the selected multistandard mode and exit.
