IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES
• Users of this equipment should read this manual carefully and ensure that they understand the explanations provided prior to using the equipment.
• Failure to follow instructions may result in serious injury to the user and/or damage to the equipment.
• The employer is responsible for enforcing the use of personal protective equipment and applying equipment safety measures recommended for the user and other personnel in the workplace.
• This device is NOT a toy. It contains staples and nails. Children should be kept away from work area and should never operate the device.
• Wear safety glasses and hearing protection to prevent damage during loading, unloading and use of the equipment.
• Before starting work, make sure you have a clean and well-lit work area to avoid possible accidents.
• Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide, or other combustible gas cylinders as a power source as this will cause an explosion and serious damage.
• Never use high pressure with these devices.
• Do not connect the tool to the compressor when the pressure is greater than the maximum working pressure.
• Only use the consumables (staples/nails) recommended in the technical data sheets for each device.
• Make sure the air hose is properly secured or positioned to prevent injury, damage or tripping.
• Make sure all connections are properly secured.
• Carry the tool by the handle only in order to prevent pressing the trigger and accidental firing.
• To prevent injury, do not point the tool at yourself or any other person.
• Disconnect the tool from the compressed air supply when:
• Performing any maintenance, cleaning work, transfer or removal from the work area, or when handing the tool to another user.
• Loading recommended consumables
• To prevent accidental firing do not hold the trigger or safety down when loading consumables.
• These devices are specifically designed for use on non-metallic surfaces, upholstery, plated materials, elastic belts etc.
• Do not use on scaffolding, ladders or similar metal structures. Do not use in sealed or air-tight locations or in vehicles. Never use the tool on hard or brittle materials such as concrete, steel
or tiles. Do not use the device near the edge of a workpiece or near the edge of the work surface, as the staples may shoot out.
• Never use the tool if it has an air leak, with missing or damaged components, or when in need of repair. Make sure all screws have been properly tightened.
• Never make unauthorized modifications to the tool.
• Inspect the trigger and safety regularly to ensure that the tool works properly.
• The tool and the air hose must have a pressure release coupling to vent excess pressure when the device is disconnected.

• Only use the consumables (staples/nails) indicated for each of the devices listed in the technical data section of this manual.
• HOW TO LOAD CONSUMABLES:
ATTENTION! Keep the tip of the tool away from your body and other people when loading consumables. Disconnect the air hose prior to loading. Make sure the
trigger is not pressed when loading the device.
• SIDE LOADING: Press the latch to open the cover, load the consumable, and then close the cover.
• BOTTOM LOADING: Press the magazine down to the rear of the loader and secure the locking mechanism. Load the consumable and release the magazine mechanism.
• Make sure the nails/staples are properly positioned.
• The tool is now ready to use.

• ACTIVATION AND FIRING SYSTEMS
DEVICES WITHOUT CONTACT SAFETY:
• INDIVIDUAL ACTIVATION: The trigger must be activated for each nailing operation.
• SINGLE ACTIVATION WITH BASIC SAFETY: The safety is built into the trigger to prevent firing when the the tool is not in use.
DEVICES WITH CONTACT SAFETY:
• DUAL ACTION SAFETY/CONTACT SAFETY: The contact safety and trigger system must be activated to fire the staple. Just press and hold the trigger and activate the contact safety system to
fire the nail/staple. The device fires at a high speed (the catch release triggers firing).
• Connect the tool to the air supply and make sure the air pressure is in accordance with the indications of the technical specifications for the device you are using.
• The nail driving depth should be tested using a piece of wood before use. If necessary, driving depth can be regulated using the regulator to adjust for more or less air pressure.
