OPERATION
STOPPING THE GENERATOR
See Figures 15 - 16.
l Remove any connected loads from the control panel
receptacles.
l Allow the generator to run at "no load" to reduce and
stabilize engine and alternator temperatures.
l Push and hold the engine control switch in the
STOP (O) position for one second to stop the generator.
NOTE: The engine control switch will automatically
return to the RUN (I) position if it is not held in the
START (II) or STOP (O) position.
l Turn the fuel valve to the closed position.
To stop the unit quickly in an emergency:
l Push and hold the engine control switch in the
STOP (O) position for one second to stop the generator.
CIRCUIT BREAKERS
See Figure 19.
The 20 amp circuit breaker protects devices and
equipment connected to the 120V, 20 amp receptacles
from electrical overload. The main circuit breaker will
automatically switch OFF if the combined load of the
receptacles exceeds the generator's capacity. If a
circuit breaker activates, turn off the connected device,
remove it from the port or outlet, and reset the circuit
breaker.

TRANSPORTING
l Turn off the generator.
l Allow the generator to cool a minimum of 30 minutes
before transporting.
l Replace all protective covers on the generator control
panel.
l Always use the generator's frame, not the handle, to lift
the unit or attach any load restraints such as ropes or
tie-down straps. DO NOT attempt to lift or secure the
generator by holding onto any of its other components.
l Keep the unit level during transport to minimize the
possibility of fuel leakage or, if possible, drain the fuel
or run the engine until the fuel tank is empty before
transport.
CAUTION
the generator or place it on its side. Fuel or oil can
leak and damage to the generator may occur.
