POSITIONING YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER
Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy
access to the mains socket.
Allow at least 20 cm of space on all sides of the appliance
for good air circulation.
Install your dehumidifier on a stable, level surface.
Make sure the surface is strong enough to support the
weight of the dehumidifier with a full bucket. Do not sit or
stand on the dehumidifier.
Place the appliance in an area where the temperature will
not fall below 5°C, otherwise the coils can become covered
with frost at temperature below 5°C, which may reduce
performance.
Place the appliance away from the clothes dryer, heater or radiator.
Use the appliance to prevent books or valuables from moisture damage.
Use the appliance in a basement to help prevent moisture damage.
The appliance must be operated in an enclosed area to be most effective.
Close all doors, windows and other outside openings to the room.
Casters can let you move the appliance easily.
OPERATION
When first using the appliance, operate it for 24 hours continuously. This will help the refrigerant settle in
properly.
This appliance is designed to operate with working environment between 5°C and 35°C.
If the appliance has been switched off and needs to be switched on again quickly, allow approximately 3
minutes for the correct operation to resume.
Make sure the water bucket is correctly fitted otherwise the appliance will not operate properly.
Do not connect the appliance to a multiple socket outlet.
Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
NOTE: Always be careful when moving the appliance, especially as water gets higher in the bucket; the
higher the water gets in the bucket, the easier it is for the appliance to fall over when being moved.
It is recommended to empty the bucket before moving the appliance.
