Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any
damages.

Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning as they may damage the surface of the appliance material.

Do not clean the device with acidic substances, medical products, thinners,
fuel, oil or other chemicals as this may damage the device.

Replacing the rubber guide on the drive roller on the motor side:
If the properly tensioned blade slips or does not fit properly on the roller on
the motor side, replace the rubber blade guide.

Replacing the motor carbon brushes:
The carbon brushes of an electric motor wear out over time and this is a
standard wear part. The device comes with an additional pair of brushes.
The most common symptoms of worn carbon brushes are loss of power,
sparking, smoking and/or a burning smell.
