2.7 Contactor on the input or output side of the frequency inverter
When the contactor is installed between the input side of the frequency inverter for power supply, the
frequency inverter must not be started or stopped by the contactor being switched on or off. If the
frequency inverter has to be operated by the contactor, make sure that the time interval between swit-
ching is at least one hour. Since frequent charging and discharging will shorten the life of the capacitor
inside the frequency inverter.
When a contactor is installed between the output side of the frequency inverter and the motor, do not
turn off the contactor when the frequency inverter is operating. Otherwise, the IGBT modules inside the
frequency inverter may be damaged.
2.8 When the input voltage is above the rated voltage range
The inverter must not be operated above the allowable voltage range specified in this manual. Otherwi-
se, the components of the frequency inverter may be damaged. If necessary, use a corresponding
voltage transformer device.
2.9 Prohibition of three-phase input switched to two-phase input
Do not change the three-phase power input of the inverter to two-phase input. Otherwise, the inverter
will be damaged.
2.10 Surge suppressor
The inverter has a built-in voltage sensitive resistor to suppress overvoltage. Using a frequent overvol-
tage location, add an additional overvoltage protection device on the input side of the inverter.
Note: Do not add the surge suppressor on the output side of the frequency converter.
2.11 Altitude and power derating using
When the altitude is higher than 1000 my the cooling effect IS WEAKENED due to the air, it is neces-
sary to derate the frequency converter. Please contact our company for technical assistance.
2.12 Any special application
If wiring not described in this manual, such as a shared DC bus is applied, contact the agent or our
company for technical assistance.
