Remove one of the optical fibres from the housing. To decide
which fibre should be removed, please take care of the layout
of the Gateway 500 in the MOST network, refer to Figure
Also consider the light directions (arrows on the
connector housings will help you).

Remove the blue locking clip
from the middle of the fibre
optic housing.

6. Plug one of the available optical fibres from the fibre optic kit
to the plastic housing. Place back the blue locking clip to the
connector housing.

Strain the hook carefully
with a sharp tool, pull out the
optical fibre from the housing.

Connect the other fibre optic
cable to the flying end of the
original optical fibre with the
m a l e - m a l e b l a c k i n l i n e
connector.

Check again that the leads in all connection are not confused
with are another.
You can make bandage from textile tape on the installed
optical cables.
