removing the factory radio. When testing the
aftermarket equipment, ensure that all factory

Remove (3) T-20 Torx screws securing the lower steering column trim panel, then unclip and remove the panel. - Página 3 DASH DISASSEMBLY (CONT.) 3. Unclip, unplug, and remove the radio dash panel. (Figure C) 4. Using Metra’s 86-5618 radio removal tools (sold separately), release the radio from the dash. Slide the radio out, then unplug and remove the radio. (Figure D)
- Página 4 KIT PREPARATION Attention! The ashtray will not be able to be reinstalled into the vehicle after these steps have been performed. To the radio dash panel: 1. Remove (4) T-20 Torx screws securing the pocket, then remove the pocket. (Figure A) 2.
- Página 5 KIT PREPARATION (CONT.) 5. Using a scribe tool or silver marker, mark the lines to be cut. 6. Remove and discard the cut template, then cut the panel. (Figure C) 7. Slide the radio trim panel into the bottom of the cut opening, then clip in at the top.
- Página 6 3. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna connector in the dash, then route them to the new radio area. Complete all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the (Figure A) (Figure B) (Figure C) proper mating adapter from Metra. Test the radio for proper operation.

- Página 11 3. Desenganche, desconecte y quite el panel del tablero del radio. (Figura C) 4. Saque el radio del tablero usando las herramientas de retiro de radio de Metra 86-5618 (se venden por separado). Deslice el radio hacia afuera y, después, desconéctelo y quítelo.
