5 Standard Management
Define test method (scales) and tolerances for pass / fail indication (values). You can
change existing standards and create new standards.
To create a new standard:
1. In the main menu select Standards.
2. In the screen Standards select +New.
3. Input a Name and select the Scales required in the standard.
4. In upper right corner select number of measurements for statistics evaluation,
e.g. "n = 3".
5. Select Edit to change the tolerance value(s) for a scale.
6. To store the standard in memory select Save.
7. To end standard management, select the Home icon.
To view or change an existing standard: Select (Various Standards) and select the stand-
ard from the list.
NOTICE
Standards created in "smart-chart" (stored in a separate group) are protected. These
standards cannot be edited.
