13.2 Disassembly
Perform the assembly process (paragraph 12.1) in reverse order.
14. DRIVING
14.1 Driving up and down
NOTE:
For your first driving session, check that the scooter is being driven on a flat surface
and will continue to be driven on a flat surface.
BEFORE YOU GET ON THE SCOOTER
• Check that it is switched off. This will avoid accidentally activating the paddle controls and
causing injury to yourself or to others;
• Check that the scooter brake handle is in the engaged position;
• Check that the wheel unlocking lever is in the engaged position.
WARNING!
Keep your weight towards the centre of the platform when getting on/off the scooter.
Shifting your weight towards the edge of the platform could cause instability!
GETTING ON THE SCOOTER
• Position the seat so that you can get on safely and easily;
• Return the handlebar to the vertical position;
• Carefully place one foot at the approximate centre of the platform and sit on the seat
comfortably and safely;
• Fasten the safety belt, if the scooter has one;
• Lower or reposition the armrests in place;
• Insert the key in the ignition;
• Turn the key to the ignition position, as shown in
switched-off position.

GETTING OFF THE SCOOTER
• Check that the scooter is switched off and the key has been removed from the ignition;
• Return the handlebar to the vertical position;
• Lift or remove the armrests;
• Undo the safety belt;
• Carefully place one foot on the ground, transfer your weight onto that leg and slowly get up;
• Step away from the scooter.
