6. Important information for users
6.1. Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep your equipment in good condition at all times. A well-maintained device is
efficient and easy to operate. Due to contact with various granules, cleaning the
equipment after every use is necessary. To do so, follow the steps below:

When handling the spreader, wear personal protective
equipment (PPE), such as boots, gloves, protective
glasses, and a face mask.
• Remove the hose.
• Screw the calibrating tip clockwise until the end (maximum dosage).

• Clean all components that had contact with the applied product using a clean
cloth. Do not use any solvent.
• Replace damaged or worn parts.
• Use only Jacto original spare parts.
ATTENTION!
Only authorized technical assistance personnel can carry
out repair services.
6.2. Waste disposal
Waste disposal resulting from equipment use, maintenance, or end of useful life
must respect the environment and prevent air, soil, and water pollution. If neces-
sary, waste must be stored in appropriate places and transported by trained and
qualified personnel from companies specialized in this service.
Equipment must be disposed of in appropriate and approved locations for re-
ceiving this material. If there is no suitable location nearby, please contact our

6.3. Storage
The equipment must be stored in a safe and ventilated place. Do not store it with
products in the tank. Chemicals can cause different reactions and damage equip-
ment components and the operator's health. Protect the equipment safely, espe-
cially in places with severe winters.
6.4. Dosage calibration
Jacto GM-2 Granular Spreader allows a dosage between 5 g and 20 g*. For better
applications, follow the steps below to calibrate your equipment:
*OBS.: Dosage may vary according to the input conditions (humidity/clods/dust/
impurities) and characteristics (density/granulometry).
• Screw the calibrating tip clockwise to increase the dose and counterclockwise
to decrease it.

• After setting the required dosage, use the regulating lock to lock the tip.
OBS.: Do not force the calibrating tip to the minimum and/or maximum dosage so
as not to damage the equipment.
