3.2. Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE APPLIANCE
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 85%. Place the appliance in a way that ensures good air circulation.
Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the appliance. Keep the
appliance away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the appliance on a level,
stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and
persons of impaired mental, sensory and intellectual functions. Place the appliance
in such a way that the mains plug can be reached at any time. Ensure that the
power supply to the appliance corresponds to that specified on the identification
plate!
ASSEMBLY OF THE APPLIANCE
Observe the safety instructions indicated above and carry out the installation as
follows:
1. Make sure that the power supply parameters are as indicated on the
identification plate.
2. Install the appliance in a DRY location, PROTECTED from unauthorized access
and away from splashing water, heat sources, open flame and flammable
substances.
Place the appliance on a flat, level, stable surface where it cannot tip over.
3. Make sure the switch on the appliance is in the OFF position and plug it into
an outlet protected by a fuse.
4. Do not connect the appliance to extension cords or shared electrical outlets.
