Scanning mode setup
Press the key
Press the keys UP and DOWN to reach the menu 13 SCAN.
Press the key
Press the keys UP and DOWN to select one of the options:
SE: scanning stops when the radio detects a signal
TO: it pauses for 5 seconds once detecting a matching signal, then it resumes
scan
CO: scanning stops when the radio detects a signal, and when the signal
disappears, the scanning resumes.
Mic Gain
Press the key
Press the keys UP and DOWN to reach the menu 14 MIG.
Press the key
Press the keys UP and DOWN to select one of the options:
1 - 3, total 3 levels.
Default: level 3.
NRC (Noise Reduction Circuit)
Press the key
Press the keys UP and DOWN to reach the menu 15 NRC.
Press the key
Press the keys UP and DOWN to select one of the options:
NRC ON: the function is active
NRC OFF: the function is inactive.
Reset
When the radio is off, press simultaneously PTT +
RST + software version (2 digits) will appear on the screen. All settings will go
back to the factory default values.
