For your safety – General safety instructions
Users are required to have read and understood this operating manual so as to be able to handle this device
safely before it is used for the first time. This device may be used only if it is in perfect working order. If it is totally
or partially defective, you must have it repaired by a professional. Never use the device in premises where there
is a risk of explosion or in the vicinity of flammable liquids or gases. ATTENTION: when using electrical devices,
basic safety precautions must be followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shocks or bodily injury.
Before undertaking any work on the device, the electrical power must be turned off WITHOUT FAIL. This device
must be kept out of the reach of children and teenagers under 16. Repairs should be carried out only by a
professional. Incorrect repairs will expose you to risks relating to electric current.
• Do not install the floodlight near flammable products (petrol, oil, alcohol, gas, acid, etc.).
• Do not unplug the device if your hands are wet, as there is a risk of electric chock.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Any unauthorized use and/or technical change may prove dangerous to your health and personal safety.
• Do not insert any object into this product, and do not disassemble it.
• This device is not designed for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental abilities
are reduced, nor by persons lacking in experience or knowledge, except if they have benefited from supervision
or prior instruction concerning the use of this device given by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children must not play with this product. Do not leave it with unattended children.
• Do not use this device if it is damaged, if it shows any signs of damage or if it does not function properly. The
external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be
destroyed.
• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
WARNING:
• All installations must be carried out by a competent person in accordance with the national installation
standards for electrical appliances (NF C 15 100).
• This product is designed for outdoor use.
