Introduction:
This information is meant to assist specialists or Voith field service technicians with
identifying the correct versions of thermo sensor elements and the GB733 Signal Processing
Unit [Picture 1] for the BTM system, in case one of the new types of thermo sensor elements
must be installed.
Background:
The originally used sensor was phased out by supplier. The newly (only) available thermo
sensor element has a not changeable temperature offset of +10 K (+/- 2K tolerance). If one
of these sensors shall be installed, the belonging input channel of the so far sold and
installed GB733 Signal Processing Units [Picture 2] must be adjusted by the value of -11 K.

The so far used and installed thermo sensor elements are just marked with the following
Voith material numbers (no coloring or similar):
• GB-732_1L
• GB727J
