Testing the trailer socket

Start screen
This screen appears when you switch on the
remote control. Connect the trailer tester
(using the appropriate adapter if necessary)
either on the vehicle or on the trailer.
Press the logo. The device will switch to the
next screen with a acoustic signal.
Note:
Please switch on the trailer tester before
the remote control. Otherwise, a frequented
acoustic signal will sound and a prompt (See
fig. 6 on page 15) will appear to switch on the
trailer tester.
Selecting the test mode
In this screen, you can choose between the
test modes "VEHICLE" and "TRAILER". The
selection is marked in red. Press the arrow
button to progress to the next screen.

Selecting the plug type

In this screen, you can select the 7-pin or 13-
pin plug type.
Press the right arrow button to progress to
the next screen or the left arrow button to
return to the previous screen.
Testing the vehicle

The test mode and plug type are shown in
the upper section of the screen. In the lower
section, you can see the lighting symbols for
the vehicle test.
Please now connect the vehicle lighting. The
symbols on the screen begin to flash or light
up in green once a signal is received from
the vehicle.
Press the left arrow button to return to the
previous screen.
