Slicing
Note: Always use the safety grip when slicing foodstuffs.
Cut
Slice Straight edge
Crinkle Serrated edge

Julienne Straight edge & Julienne
Place the food to be sliced on to the mandolin.

2. Press the safety grip on to the food, pushing the grip spikes down if necessary.
3. Holding the safety grip at the top of the mandolin, slide the foodstuff down the face of the guide plate
and over the blades [Fig. 5].
4. Return to the top of the mandolin and repeat.
Note: Ensure the sliced food will fall from the mandolin on to a surface or into a
container that is suitable for food storage/preparation.
Removing the Blades
Push down the blade release [Fig. 6] of the straight/serrated blade and pull from the appliance.

• Pull the handle of the Julienne blade to remove it from the appliance.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Always use extreme care when handling the blades.
• Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the mandolin and blades.
• Clean the mandolin and blades regularly.
• Always dry thoroughly after washing.
