BATTERy CHARGERS

Keep the battery charger away from rain or moisture. Penetration of water in the battery charger
increases the risk if an electric shock.
• Keep Children and bystanders at a safe distance from the work area while the tool is being
used.
• The charger is designed for use from a standard household electrical supply. Do not attempt
to connect the charger to a supply with a different voltage.
• Do not charge other batteries. The battery charger is suitable only for the cordless shrub/
grass shear. Use of the charger with other products may result in fire and explosion.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. There is danger of explosion.
• To reduce the risk of an electric shock, unplug the charger from the power supply before
attempting to clean it. Removing the output terminal alone does not reduce the risk.
• Pull on the charger to disconnect it from the power source. Do not pull on the lead.
• Keep the battery charger clean. Contamination can lead to danger of an electric shock.
• Before each use, check the battery charger. If damage is detected, do not use the battery
charger. Never open the battery charger yourself. Have repairs performed only by a qualified
technician and only using original spare parts. Damaged battery chargers, cables and plugs
increase the risk of an electric shock.
• Do not operate the battery charger on or near flammable products such as paper, textiles, etc.
• The heating of the battery charger during the charging process can pose a fire hazard.
