GENERAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CHARGING
Battery packs are shipped in a low charge condition to prevent possible problems.
Therefore, you should charge them until the green LED on the front of the charger
comes on.
1.
Use the battery with the recommended charger only.
2.
Connect the charger to the power supply. Make sure the power supply is
normal household voltage, 220 – 240 V AC, 50 Hz.
3.
Slide the battery pack along the groove of the charger.
4.
Press down the battery pack to ensure contacts on the battery pack engage
properly with contacts in the charger.
5.
Make sure the latch of the battery pack snap into place and the battery pack is
secured in the charger before beginning operation.
6.
Do not place the charger and battery pack in an area of extreme heat or cold.
They will work best at normal room temperature.
NOTE: The charger and battery pack must be stored at a temperature between 0° C
and +30° C. Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery leakage may
occur. If liquid comes in contact with your skin, wash immediately with soap and wa-
ter, then neutralize with lemon juice or vinegar.
The battery pack will become slightly warm to the touch while charging. This is normal
and does not indicate a problem.
7.
After charging is complete, the charge green LED will remain on until either the
battery pack has been removed from the charger or the charger has been
removed from the power supply.
8.
After having fully charged, unplug the charger from the power supply and remove
the battery from the charging slot.
9.
To remove the battery pack from the charger, depress the latch of the battery
pack.
