Place the appliance on a flat, level, heat-resistant surface.

To obtain a perfect flavour, operate the appliance for two or three cycles with fresh water
(without coffee) before using it for the first time (

After all the water has run through the appliance, turn off the power. Pour away the water,
then leave the appliance to cool for five minutes. Refill with water and repeat the process.

An odour may be given off during this procedure due to the combustion of residue. This is
not a malfunction of the appliance. Ensure sufficient ventilation in the room !

Leave the appliance to cool at room temperature. Clean the appliance (

5. USING THE APPLIANCE
Warning!
Always fill the coffee maker with water before turning it on. We recommend
using softened or filtered water to avoid any build-up of scale.
Never fill higher than the maximum level line 10 to ensure that hot water does
not spill during use. Risk of burns!
Avoid brewing coffee when the water level is below the minimum level line 2.

Open the water reservoir cover (9).

Open the cover with the spray nozzle (8).

Pour a suitable amount of water into the water reservoir (6), depending on the number of
cups of coffee to be made. The number of cups is shown on the water level gauge (6). Never
fill higher than the maximum level line 10 on the graduated reservoir (6).

Place a filter in the filter holder (2).
5.
Place the desired amount of ground coffee in the filter.

Open the cover with the spray nozzle (8).
7.
Close the water reservoir cover (9).
8.
Place the glass jug (3) on the hot plate (4).
N.B. : the coffee maker has an anti-drip system. This stops coffee from dripping from the
filter holder (2) if the glass jug (3) is removed briefly while percolation is in progress. Put the
jug back in place within 30 seconds, otherwise the coffee may overflow.
9.
Connect the power plug (7) to a compatible power socket.

Switching on the appliance: Press the On/Off button
red. The percolation process starts.

Let the appliance operate until the water reservoir (6) is empty.

Once the coffee has been prepared, if you do not want to serve it immediately, keep the
switch in the "On" position. The coffee will be kept hot on the hot plate. The appliance will
automatically turn off 40 minutes after it was turned on. For the best possible taste, serve
coffee immediately after it has been prepared.

Alternatively you can turn off the appliance immediately by pressing the On/Off

Note :
For stronger coffee, press the On/Off switch
percolation; the operating light will flash continuously during the percolation process.
Warning! When the glass jug (3) is empty, press the On/Off switch
the appliance manually. Never leave an empty jug on the hot plate (4) while the keep
hot function is active.
