BEFORE WELDING
- Before using, read the manual
carefully and make sure you know
all what it has shown.
- Check to see if the auto-darkening
welding helmet is suitable for the
work you intend to do and make
sure all parts and components are in
proper order and ready for work.
- Make sure that the power supply
or the auto-darkening welding
helmet is correct and ready for
work.
- Adjust the headgear according to
your head size.
- Set dark shade state, according
to Shade Guide Chart, to correct
shade number following Dark
Shade Setting. Make sure the shade
number you select is correct and
suitable for the job.

PRECAUTION
- Always check the front cover lens
of the Auto-darkening filter, and
make sure that they are clean and
no dirt is covering the sensor on the
front of the filter cartridge.
- Inspect all parts of the Auto-
darkening welding filter, replace if it
is worn or damaged, scratch, crack
or pit.
- Adjust shade state to fit the
welding work by turning the knob.
- Adjust the headgear or headband
to fit your head size.
DARK SHADE SETTING
1. Carefully select shade number
range according to the welding you
want to do. The smaller the welding
current, the lower the shade
number, vice versa.
2. Accurate shade number is
adjusted by the shade-adjusting
Knob outside the helmet. Turn
knob, the shade number can be set
manually between 9 to13.
