All STEINEL products
meet the highest quality
standards. For this reason,
we as the manufacturer are
happy to provide you as
the customer with a free
warranty in accordance with
the following conditions:
We provide warranty by
rectifying (at our option:
repair or replacement of
defective parts, if applicable
replacement with a suc-
cessor model or issuance
of a credit note) without
charge defects which can
be proven to be due to a
material or manufacturing
defect within the warranty
period. The warranty applies
to all STEINEL Professional
products purchased and
used in Germany.
The warranty period for
• hot glue guns and heat
guns is: 1 year
EU countries only:
Under the current
European Directive on
Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment
and its implementation
in national law, electrical
and electronic equipment
no longer suitable for
use must be collected
separately and recycled
• sensors/outdoor lights/
indoor lights is: 5 years
and begins from the
date of purchase of
the product.
Expressly excluded from
this warranty are all replace-
able illuminants. Beyond
that, the warranty does not
apply:
• In the event of wear and
tear of product parts due
to use or other natural
causes or defects in the
STEINEL product due to
use or other natural wear
and tear.
• In the event of improper
use of the product or
failure to observe the
operating instructions.
• If additions, conversions
or other modifications
have been made to the
product without authorisa-
tion or if defects are due
to the use of accessories,
integral parts or spare
parts that are not original
STEINEL parts.
• If the products have not
been maintained and
cared for in accordance
with the operating instruc-

• If attachment and installa-

your statutory rights. The
benefits described herein
are in addition to, and do
not limit or replace, any
statutory rights. German
law shall apply to the exclu-
sion of the United Nations
Convention on Contracts
for the International Sale
of Goods (CISG).
Claims
If you wish to make a
complaint about your
product, please send it
complete and carriage
paid with the original sales
receipt, which must include
the date of purchase and
product name, to your
dealer or directly to us,

therefore recommend that
you keep your proof of
purchase carefully until the
warranty period expires.
We assume no liability for
transport costs and risks
