Remove the Rechargeable Batteries
This appliance is equipped with rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. Remove
the batteries before disposing of the appliance.
As a consumer you are legally bound to return exhausted batteries /
rechargeable batteries.
WARNING:
Before removing the rechargeable batteries, disconnect the appliance from the
power supply.
1. Remove the attachments.
2. Use a small crosshead screwdriver to remove the screws inside the appliance.
3. Pry both halves of the housing apart using a screwdriver, thereby destroying the
appliance.
4. Remove the rechargeable batteries.
5. Cut the wires to the batteries with a pair of scissors.
Return the batteries at a collection point for batteries and / or hazardous waste. Ask
your municipality for further information.

Please return any electrical equipment that you will no longer use to the
collection points provided for their disposal.
