Incorrect installation of this motor pump can result in serious injury or even death.
Installers, pool operators and pool owners should read these warnings and all
instructions contained in this manual before installing, operating, or servicing the
pump.
SIBRAPE pumps are intended for use in commercial and residential swimming pools.
Most countries have local construction, installation, and operation of residential and /
or public swimming pools, spas, and bathtubs regulations. These regulations exceed
government regulations.
It is important to follow these regulations according to the country of installation.
IMPORTANT WARNING
Attention installer! This installation and user manual contains important information
about the installation, operation, and safe use of this pump. This manual must be
handed over to the equipment´s owner.
Before installing this product, read and follow all warnings and instructions contained
in this manual. Failure to follow warnings and instructions can result in serious injury,
death, property damage and / or loss of warranty.
Danger! Water temperatures above 37 ° C can be hazardous to your health. Prolonged
immersion in hot water can induce hyperthermia. Hyperthermia occurs when the body's
internal temperature reaches a level above the body's internal temperature of 37 ° C.
The effects of hyperthermia include: (1) ignorance of the imminent danger; (2) lack of
perception of heat; (3) failure to recognize the need to get out of the water; (4) physical
inability to get out of the water; (5) fetal damage in pregnant women; (6) unconsciousness
that can result in the risk of drowning.
The use of alcohol, drugs and / or medication can considerably increase the risk of fatal
hyperthermia in swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs.
Do not allow children and / or people without proper certification or professional training
to operate this motor pump.
When replacing a motor pump, check the power / flow / operative equipment´s curve so
that they are compatible with each other. Installing inappropriate equipment can exceed
the maximum flow supported by the system.
This equipment is intended for use in residential and / or commercial swimming pools,
so all local regulations must be followed.
In Brazil we have as reference the ABNT NBR.
ABNT NBR 10339 - Piscina - Design, execution, and maintenance of 09/19/2018. ABNT
NBR 5410 - Low voltage electrical installations from 09/30/2004.
