Application
Concealed shower mixer suitable for:
• Direct connection to cold water supply
• Connection to outlet of upstream mixed water supply
Safety notes
• Installation is only possible in frost-free rooms.
• The switched-mode power supply is only suitable for indoor
use.
• The voltage supply must be separately switchable.
• Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories. The
use of other parts will result in voiding of the warranty and
the CE identification.
Technical data
• Minimum flow pressure
• Operating pressure max.
• Recommended flow pressure
• Test pressure
• Temperature
Recommended (energy saving):
• Integrated isolating valve
If static pressures exceed 0.5 MPa (5 bar), a pressure-
reducing valve must be installed.
Rough installation
1. Prepare the wall for the installation, refer to dimensional
drawing on fold-out page I and Fig. [1] on fold-out page II.
2. Observe installation depth in accordance with Fig. [2].
3. Align wall-mounting box (A) horizontally, vertically and
parallel to the wall, see Fig. [3].
4. Mark wall-mounting box (A) and fasten using plugs (B),
washers (C) and screws (D).
5. Connect pipes (E), see Fig. [4].
Do not solder the connections between the pipes and
housing, as otherwise the built-in isolating valve may be
damaged.
6. Close isolating valve (G), see Fig. [5].
7. Attach hose (F) with filter (H) to isolating valve (G).
Open hot and cold water supply and check connections
for watertightness.
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806).
Connecting to the power supply
• Only round cables with max. outside diameter 6 to 8.5mm
may be used.
1. Cut opening in wall-mounting box (A), see Fig. [6].
2. Insert 230V connecting wire (I) into the transformer base,
see Fig. [7]. Strip insulation in accordance with Fig. [7]
and mount lustre terminal (J), note assignment.
3. Route strand (I1) in an arc and position lustre terminal (J)
on the locators in base (K), see Fig. [8].
4. Secure cable using screws (M) and strain relief (L).
5. Fasten lid (N) in base (K) using screw (O).
0.05 MPa (0.5 bar)
1 MPa (10 bar)
0.1 – 0.5 MPa (1 - 5 bar)
Note for installer:
1.6 MPa (16 bar)
• Attach structural shell protection (P), see Fig. [9].
max. 70 °C
• Do not carry out any further installation procedures until the
60 °C
tiling is completed.
Note for tiler:
• Take account of 1 to 3mm grouting joint to rough installation
protection, see Fig. [10].
Perform final installation.
Further installation procedures are explained in the final
installation for the trim set.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I.
Electrical installation work must only be
performed by a qualified electrician. This work
must be carried out in accordance with the
regulations according to IEC 364-7-701-1984
(corresponding to VDE 0100 Part 701) as well
as all national and local regulations.
