2. Lay fascia panel face down on appliance top panel to provide
access to User Interface Control Board.
3. SAID code is printed on the Label located on Wi-Fi Module.
4. Replace fascia panel onto appliance with the two screws
previously removed (Refer to illustration, step 1).

5. Plug appliance into a grounded 3 prong outlet or reconnect
power and enter the USB Menu; see page 20.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in death,
re, or electrical shock.
n A 220 V–240 V, 50 Hz AC only, 10 A, fused electric supply is
required. A time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended.
It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this
appliance be provided.
n A detachable 3 conductor, 250 V, 10 A, 1.0 mm2 (18 AWG)
minimum, power supply cord, 1,800 mm (6 ft) long (minimum),
with one end terminated with an IEC 60320-1 C13 connector,
the other end terminated in a 3 prong, earthing-type plug
meeting the local, national, and/or regional approval authority/
safety agency standards is required. Approved Maytag power
supply cords are available for order for specific regions per the
Power Cord Selection table.
n To minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be plugged
into a mating, 3 prong, earthing-type outlet, earthed in
accordance with local codes and ordinances. If a mating outlet
is not available, it is the personal responsibility and obligation
of the customer to have the properly earthed outlet installed by
a qualified electrician.
n If codes permit and a separate ground wire is used, it is
recommended that a qualified electrician determine that the
earth path is adequate.
n If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special
cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service
agent.
n Do not earth to a gas pipe.
n Check with a qualified electrician if you are not sure the
washer is properly earthed.
n Do not have a fuse in the neutral or earth circuit.
n Only a Maytag service person, qualified electrician, or similarly
qualified person shall replace a power cord or perform service
on the electrical power supply in accordance with these
instructions and local codes and regulations.
n This product is shipped with the AS/NZS 3112 power cord
installed. Additional power cords are supplied with the
product. Refer to the Power Cord Selection table to determine
the power cord required for your region, or if needed, to order
the appropriate approved Maytag power supply cord.
n After installation, access to mains plug must be ensured at all
times in order to ensure immediate deactivation of the washer
in case of emergency.
n The appliance inlet, power supply cord, and retainer bracket
must remain fully assembled and connected. If any component
becomes damaged and/or disconnected, the appliance must
be unplugged and the damaged component must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
IMPORTANT: Washer installation and service must be performed
by a Maytag authorized service person.
