3 Scale Operation
3.1 Turn on
Start the forklift and make sure the terminal is turned on.
3.2 Confirm the Scale is at Zero
• If the scale is not at zero, ensure the forklift blades are off the ground and
empty of product then press the zero button. If the mast is over the range of
angular compensation, adjust it.
• If the VFS120 is installed behind some heavy accessories e.g. the rotary, we
should re-calibrate the zero on the site because it could be out of the zero
range Please refer to F1.3.5 Zero calibration.
3.3 Lift the load
Lift the load off the ground. Follow the below principles when weighing:
3.3.1 Do not place the load on the tip of the forks
3.3.2 Do not place the load on a single fork
3.3.3 The two forks should be in-line to achieve highest accuracy
