resting your legs on the back of the bed. Do not sit
on the footrest, it could get damaged.
34. Do not pull the remote control cable, it could break.
35. Remove the batteries when you are not going to use
the remote control for a long period of time.
Batteries can leak corrosive electrolytes and
damage remote control components beyond repair.
36. Leakage, overheating, or explosion of batteries
could lead to fire or injury. Use AAA batteries for the
remote control. Do not short circuit, heat or throw
batteries on the fire. Do not insert batteries inverting
their polarity.
37. Please bear in mind that direct light can lead to
colour alterations or colour loss of the bed structure
or mattress.
38. If you have any problems, do not try to repair the bed
yourself.
39. The remote or wire control must always be
controlled by the user lying in bed, it should never
be used by anyone who is not lying in the bed. The
only exception is when the person using the control
is the user's caregiver.
40. If there are two beds with a remote control, the
Synchronising your Remote Control procedure
should never be performed simultaneously (point
6.2.1. of this guide). The process must be
completed first for one bed and then for the other.
Otherwise, one remote control may control more
than one bed.
41. Conservation and maintenance: we recommend
checking the tightening and lubrication of the bed
structure at least once a year.
5. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
5.1. Assembling the bed
The fixed legs are always assembled in the same way,
regardless of the chosen height. Insert each leg's screw
into each of the bed's leg holes, place the washer and
then tighten the nut using the special spanner that
comes with the bed.

5.2. Connecting the motor
To start the motor, you must first connect the power
cord to a power outlet. If you have acquired a bed with
a wire control you must connect it to the motor if it is
not already connected, as shown in the following image:
If you have purchased a bed with a remote control, it
should already be synchronised with the factory motor.
If not, please refer to point
remote control in this guide to synchronise it
Once connected, you can use the control to adjust the
bed base. You must keep pressing the control button,
since the bed will only rise or recline as long as it is
pressed. The moment you stop pressing the button, the
motor will stop.
Please note that the first time you use the motor it may
take a while to rise/recline the backrest or foot area
because the motor pistons are in their factory position.
It is important that you connect the 9V battery or
batteries that comes with the motor. The function of
this battery is explained in point
is one battery if the motor is wired and two batteries if
the motor is wireless.
5.3. Placement of side stops
Side stops are placed to prevent the mattress from
sliding out of the bed base.
They must be placed on the part of the wood of the slat
resting on the plastic support. The support has a
blocking function and stops the slat from coming out.
