7.2.3. CHECKING THE SPARK PLUG
When it comes to starting a machine, the most
common problems are produced by a dirty spark plug
or one in poor condition. Clean and check the spark
plug regularly.
Check that the electrode gap is correct (0.6 - 0.7
mm).

7.2.6. MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF
BLADES
ATTENTION! Always wear safety gloves when
working with the blades.
The blades should be cleaned every so often to
protect them from corrosion.
This machine is equipped with two blades. When they
lose their edge they must be replaced. Often you can
tell that the edge is worn because vibration increases,
it is difficult for the material to enter the blades and/or
once crushed it comes out in long strips.
1. Stop the engine (turn the ON/OFF switch to the
"OFF" position) and disconnect the wire from the
safety switch.
2. Remove the feeding tube.
3. Insert a wooden board and pull the starter rope a
little until you see the blade and the blade is blocked
by the wood. You can now remove the blade bolts.
