3. The markings on the beaker have the following meaning:
soft
for soft-boiled eggs.
weich
The individual lines above the words
mollet
show the number of eggs (1-7).
medium
between hard and soft-boiled.
mittel
The individual lines above the words
medium
show the number of eggs (1-7).
hard
for hard-boiled eggs.
hart
The individual lines above the words
dur
show the number of eggs (1-7).
4. Insert the egg tray.
5. Pierce the eggs on the bottom to avoid that they crack.
Please use the pricker on the underside of the measuring
beaker. Press the egg delicately against the piercing needle
until the egg is pierced.
6. Distribute the eggs evenly and one opposite the other in the
egg tray.
7. Cover it with the lid.
8. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230 V/50 Hz socket.
9. Turn the device on using the on/off switch. The control lamp
now illuminates.
10. The eggs are ready when the buzzer sounds. Switch the
device off and remove the mains plug from the socket.
11. Please hold the lid by the handle and put it to one side. Cau-
tion! Hot!
12. Take the egg tray out of the cooking bowl and run the
eggs briefl y under cold water so that they do not continue
cooking.
13. Leave the device to cool before putting it away!
Mains Cable Take-up Device
The mains cable can be wound up on the base.
•
Always remove the plug from the mains supply before
cleaning the machine!
•
The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary,
with a slightly damp cloth without additives.
•
Wash the lid and the egg tray in a normal sink.
Decalcifi cation
•
The decalcifi cation intervals depend on the hardness of the
water and the frequency of use.
•
If the machine switches off before the water boils, it probably
needs to be decalcifi ed.
•
Do not use vinegar, but a normal citric acid-based decalci-
fi er. Follow the manufacturers' instructions!
