12 / Tighten the cable so that the two external
levers are in line with the fork (fig. m). It
is possible to fine-tune the adjustment
with the quick-release knob.
13 / Once this adjustment is done, tighten the
cable using a 10 Torx key to a torque of
4Nm.
14 / Bring a 3mm allen key to adjust the
brake pad guard: clockwise rotation > the
pad moves away from the rim /
anticlockwise rotation > the pad
approaches the rim (fig. n).
15 / Using a 2 mm BTR wrench, adjust the
spring tension to make the lever
movements symmetrical (fig. o).
16 / Work the lever about ten times and
check that the brakes work properly.
Also check the clearance between the
pads and the rim before using the
brakes.
17 / Cut the cable at about 25 mm from the
cable clamp. Crimp a cable end. Remove
the cable clamp of the right outside
lever. Fold the cable back by twisting it
and insert it into the cable clamp inside
slot.
18 / Reposition the cable clamp by placing
the cable inside the lever.

1 / Repeat step 5 of fitting the front brakes
and fit the quick-release. Position the 5
zip ties (rislan) delivered in the case along
the brake cable housing by tilting them.
2 / Remove the two removable stops on the
diagonal tube. Thread the cable housing
fitted with its rislans in the oblong of the frame to
the opening under the diagonal tube.
3 / Fit the lower removable stop and let the cable housing protrude by 15 cm under the diagonal
tube. Refit the upper removable stop.
4 / Put the cable housing along the level of the socket being careful not to interfere with the
rotation of the handlebars.
5 / Repeat step 8 of fitting the front brakes. Fit the wheel. Make sure the quick-release is in the
closed position (fig. j).
6/
Cut the bellows at 26 mm and position them against the elbow. Thread the cable through the
hole of the left lever and tighten as soon as the pad guard is correct. (fig.q)
7/
Tighten the cable using a 10 Torx key to a torque of 4Nm.
8/
Adjust the position of the pad by centring it on the braking band (fig. k). When using wide rims,
the washer between the pad holder and the brake lever must be removed.
9/
Adjust the position of the brake caliper by the spring tension screws using a 2.5 mm allen key.
10/ Repeat stage 16 of the fitting.
11/ Cut the cable at 25 mm from the brake lever. Crimp a cable
end. Fold the cable back into the lever hole.
To change the pads, remove the pins with a flat screwdriver.
Change the pads with attention to their direction, then refit the
pins (Fig. q).
WARNING:
- The originally fitted pads are compatible only with aluminium rims.
- The original pad holders are compatible with the Shimano standard fixing pads.
