Troubleshooting
If the compressor doesn´t operate satisfactorly, the following points have to be checked:
1. Air leakage from the air pressure switch when compressor is not operating:
Probably, the air leakage is caused by the non-return valve (No 7). Open the drain plug (No 6)
and release the compressed air from the tank. Unscrew the nut of the return valve and clean the
seat as well as the small rubber piston. Assemble again. If this does not help replace the return
valve.
2. If the compressor stops and will not start again:
a. Disconnect the electric power.
b. Check if the automatic fuse has cut out. Wait approx. 15 min and it will start again.
c. Check the fuses of electrical supply system.
d Check the pressure switch (No 4) - if there is any electrical failures.
3. If the compressor doesn´t stop:
a. Disconnect the electric power.
b. Check the pressure switch (No 4) - if there is any electrical failures.
4. If the compressor doesn´t compress any air and is overheating:
The gaskets or some of the valves are damaged. Disassemble the motor top (when the
compressor has cooled down) and replace the damaged parts. Clean carefully the valve plate.
If necessary, ask for help in the nearest service work-shop.
Maintenance instructions
1. Each day:
a. Open the drain plug (No 6) and empty the condensed water from the tank.
2. Once a month (or after each 50 working hours):
a. Clean the compressor outside.
b. Clean the air filter (No 3), by blowing it with compressed air in the opposite direction than the
air intake.
3. Every year (or every 1000 working hours):
Replace the filter element of the intake filter.
Check and clean the motor valves.
Note! Before any maintenance works the compressor must be
unplugged from the electrical line.
Health hazards
• While the compressor is under use, its motor and its pipes get very hot: risk of burns.
• Always take care of your own safety: wear individual protection equipments.
• Never leave the compressor unattended when operated.
• Never run the compressor in an explosive environment.
• Inhalation of dust can be harmful to health. Wear a suitable visor and breathing apparatus,
when working in a dusty environment.
