1. Insert the required inserts 7 in the
stand tube 8 (see Figure C).
The clamping plate located inside the
tube behind the T-screw 6 must be pu-
shed into the notch 9 of the inserts 7
(see Figure D).
2. Insert the sun shade's pole and tigh-
ten the T-screw 6 (see Figure E).
First tighten the upper, then the lower
T-screw.
Mounting the wheels
Prerequisite: There is no sun shade in
the stand tube.
1. Lift the granite base and place it up-
right on one of its lateral surfaces.
Have a second person hold the
granite base!
2. Screw 4 wheels 11 into the threads
on the bottom of the granite base (see
Figure F and G).
3. Place the granite base in the desired
position.
4. Push down the locking devices 12 to
prevent the granite base from rolling
away.
5. Loosen the bottom T-screw 6 and, if
applicable, the upper T-screw by tur-
ning them anticlockwise (see Figure E).
6. Insert the sun shade's pole and tigh-
ten the upper T-screw as well as the lo-
wer T-screw 6 again by turning them
clockwise.
7. Please note: Insert the sun shade's
pole at least 200 mm, ideally to
a depth that permits it to be held in
place by both T-screws.
Changing the location
Prerequisite: There is no sun shade in
the stand tube.
1. Release the locking devices 12 and
move the base to the desired location
on its wheels.
2. Push down the locking devices again
and replace the sunshade.
Care + storage
The granite base requires no mainte-
nance. You can remove any dirt deposits
with a small amount of soapy solution.
Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning
agents or fluids, solvents, abrasive sub-
stances or objects, bleaching agents,
high-pressure cleaners or strong
cleaning products.
Regularly check to make sure all scre-
wed connections (wheels, handle) are
secure and tighten them if needed.
When it is not in use, e.g. throughout win-
ter, store the granite base with its wheel
system in a dry and frost-free place.
Warranty
The warranty period for this product is
36 months.
If you discover a defect during this time,
please consult your vendor. To help us
assist you quickly, please be sure to hold
onto the proof of purchase and provide
us with the model name as well as the
article number.
Granite is a natural product whose colour
may vary and whose surfaces may exhi-
bit irregularities.
Differences in the structure and colour
between the parts of a delivery or compa-
red to other granite slabs from the same
material are reserved to the extent they
are attributed to the nature of the materi-
als used and customary in the trade.
Such circumstances do not constitute
defects and do not entitle customers to
assert warranty claims.
The warranty does not cover:
– Alteration or weathering of the sur-
face. This is normal wear and cannot
be prevented or reduced;
– damage as the result of improper use
(e.g. commercial use);
– Damage due to structural modifica-
tions to the product.
