05 Operating the Machine
Charge the battery fully (See Fein
operating instructions)
Insert drill bit without tool
Set the drilling rotation to clockwise (1)
Select speed (2)
Connect water supply (3)
Position and fix drilling aid (4)
Hold drilling machine at desired spot
Gradually open ball valve (5)
Start drilling at low speed
With the drill centered, increase to full
working speed
After achieving the desired drilling
depth, shut off the machine
Flush out the drill core. If necessary,
open the ball valve fully or remove the
drill core manually, e.g. with the pin.
Caution: The drilling machine must be
held with the drill adaptor downward.
Close the ball valve
Never operate the machine dry
(Risk of damaging seals) Use clean tap
water only.
First connect the water supply, then open
the ball valve.
When loosening tight drill bits, always
counterhold at the drill spindle with the
supplied SW 27 jaw wrench.
Using the Machine Without the Water
Feed Chuck
After the water feed chuck has been removed,
this machine can be used as a screw driller
with all the accessory parts in accordance
with the Fein operating instructions.
To remove the water feed chuck, simply loosen
the clamping ring and remove the water feed
chuck from the collar of the machine.
