2.4 Maintenance
Routine maintenance must be carried out on the system accor-
ding to the manufacturer's directions.
When the equipment is working, all the access and operating
doors and covers must be closed and fixed.
No type of modification must be made to the system.
Prevent metal powder from accumulating near the aeration fins
and over them.
Disconnect the power supply before every operation!
Carry out the following periodic controls on the
power source:
* Clean the power source inside by means of low-
pressure compressed air and soft bristel brushes.
* Check the electric connections and all the connec-
tion cables.
* Check the quantity of liquid in the tank (2/3 water and 1/3
antifreeze liquid).
* Check the conditions of the electric pump.
* Check the state of the pipe connections.
* Check the state of the electrical connections.
Every six months, change the cooling liquid and wash out the
tubes and reservoir with water. Change the liquid in the case
where it should boil, since it would loose its protective metallic
properties.
Filling or topping up of the tank with cooling
liquid must be performed with the power source
and WU15 assembled and positioned on a hori-
zontal surface.
Filling or topping up of the tank must be perfor-
med with Selco cooling liquid, code 18.91.001.
The equipment must not be used without cooling
liquid.
Do not use conductive cooling liquids.
Failure to perform said maintenance will invalidate all war-
ranties and exempt the manufacturer from all liability.
3 WU15 DESCRIPTION
3.1 Front panel
A1: water connector.
It's connected to the delivery pipe of the TIG torch
(usually blue).
A2: water connector.
It's connected to the return pipe of the TIG torch
(usually red).
