ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
The operation of the device is based on the principle of current flow in a simple
electrical circuit, and the colors of the poles/wire insulation have been selected in
accordance with common standards: the black wire (H), i.e. negative, is connected
to the buried earth pin (D) and runs from it to device controller (A). On the other
hand, the red wire, i.e. the positive one (G), runs from the device controller (A) and
is connected to the fence wire. The controller (A), which transmits constant power
to the fence, draws it from an external power source, which can be a 12V battery or
a power supply (F) connected to a 230V power socket. The kit includes a connection
to each of these power sources.
ATTENTION: for safety reasons, the device may only be connected to the power
supply after the entire installation has been completed - never connect it before!
1) Connect the two parts of the grounding pin (D) to each other with the included
screw and wing nut, and securely attach the eyelet to the grounding wire (H)
on the screw.
2) Connect the eyelet on the other end of the grounding wire (H) to the negative
(black) pole of the controller - unscrew its nut completely and screw the eyelet
with it.
3) If necessary, mount the device controller on some solid vertical surface such as
a wall, etc. Additionally, put it out of the reach of unauthorized persons or
animals. Alternatively, it can be attached to the top end of the grounding pin -
use the holes in the pin and those on the back of the controller housing and the
included screws.
4) Correct and effective operation of a live fence depends largely on proper
grounding, therefore the grounding pin should be driven into the ground to at
least 20 cm. Ideally, this substrate would be moist soil. For example, sand,
gravel or dry soil are not good conductors of electricity.
5) Unscrew the positive pole of the controller (red) and attach the eyelet of the
power connection cable (G) to the fence.
IMPORTANT: When planning a live fence, avoid uneven, rocky or steep areas of
the site as much as possible. The wire should be properly tensioned and the
fence posts should be stably buried in the ground. A fence consisting of several
live wires (3 or more) is considered to be the most effective for the intended
use. Additional fasteners/clamps are not included in the kit. Moreover, the
wires should run parallel to each other and none of them can come into contact
with the other.
6) At the other end of the red power cord there is a crocodile clip (G) - connect it
to the fence wire.
7) After completing the installation and making sure that no wire is broken or in
contact with another, you can connect the controller (A) to the power source,
