Important: Read these instructions thoroughly before using.
Do not plug in until instructed.

– To reduce the risk of electric shock, serious injury or death:
• Liquids exposed to electricity pose an immediate risk of electric shock. Do not use this product
if it is wet, in contact with or near spilled water or any liquid. Do not handle the plug with wet
hands. In case of spills on or near the power console, immediately unplug the unit from the wall
outlet and consult an electrician.
• To prevent suffocation, keep plastic bags away from children.
• Do not modify the plug provided with the product. If the plug will not fit the wall outlet, have a
proper wall outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
• Keep cord out of the reach of children and pets that may cause damage.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or service the product; no serviceable parts are inside. Contact your
La-Z-Boy dealer for service.

• Keep upholstery away from flames or lit cigarettes. Upholstery may burn rapidly, with toxic gas
and thick smoke. Fires that begin elsewhere in a home may spread and involve upholstery.
For your safety, always use a properly installed smoke detector with working batteries.
• Disconnect the electrical plug from outlet before cleaning, moving, servicing or when not in use
for an extended period of time.
• Closely supervise children and disabled persons using this product.
• Do not use this product if it is damaged. Do not use attachments or substitute parts.
• This product is intended for indoor residential use only.
• Never operate the unit with a damaged electrical cord or plug. Check the condition of the electrical
cord and plug monthly.
• Do not place cord under carpet or in a location where it could become worn.
• Do not allow electrical cord to be pinched anywhere.
• Keep the electrical cord away from heat sources.
• Do not stand or sit on the center console.
• This product is not intended for use as a health care device.
• Do not use this product where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
• Connect this furnishing directly to a properly grounded wall outlet only. Do not use an extension cord,
adapter or surge protector. Improper connection of the equipment grounding conductor can result in
a risk of electric shock. If you are unsure for the proper grounding of the product, check with a
qualified electrician or serviceman (See Table of Contents, Console Grounding Instructions).

• If you detect strange odors or fumes coming from the unit, then unplug the power cord immediately.
• Any metal objects placed on the charging tray or between the charging tray and the device being
charged may become hot causing damage to the tray or device being charged.
• Do not attempt to disconnect the power plug by pulling the power cord. Always hold the power
plug and pull it out.
• Do not move the units while connected together. The purpose of the bracket system is to connect the units
and prevent them from being separated while on the floor. The bracket system does not provide adequate
structural support for the movement of connected units.
• If you give this product to someone else, include this Operating Instructions manual.
NOTICE
– To reduce the risk of product damage:
• Some units contain cup holders. Take care to prevent spilling of beverages, which could result
in damage to cover.
• This unit does not provide surge protection.
• Do not place objects or containers such as keys, cups, bottles, or cans in the wireless charging
tray as doing so may cause damage to those objects and/or damage to the wireless charging tray.
• Do not spill beverages onto or allow cold beverages to drip into the wireless charging tray.
Wipe up any spill immediately with clean paper towel to prevent damage.
• Close the storage lid slowly and without excessive force. Quickly closed lids may damage the
lid or lid release mechanism.
