• T his helmet should not be used by children for climbing or other
activities where there is a risk of strangulation or of catching should
the child get caught with the helmet.
• T he helmet must fit snugly and the chin strap must be securely
fastened.
• D o not push the helmet to the back of your neck as this means that
your forehead is not protected.
• D o not wear any head cover under the helmet.
• P lease ensure that air continues to circulate.
• N o modifications may be made to the helmet, its structure, or indivi-
dual components.
• T he helmet may not be painted and/or decorated with stickers or
labels.
• T he protective effect of the helmet can be seriously impaired by the
effects of paints, stickers, cleaning fluids, or other solvents.
• T he helmet should protect your head in the event of an impact. This
protection is no longer provided even after a single impact (even
if it is light). Therefore the helmet must be replaced immediately
after an accident even if there is no visible damage.
• N ever use solvents or scouring agents that contain petroleum to
clean the helmet, either on the outside or the inside. Always use a
detergent that is pH neutral and diluted with clear water; rub the
article carefully with a soft cloth. Then wipe it dry with a lint-free
cloth.
