5.5 Indication correction
(not with model A46.11 surface thermometer)

The screw at the end of the stem (see figure) serves for the indication correction. Turning
the screw causes an immediate change in the displayed value and should only be carried
out after consultation with the manufacturer. Carry out steps 1 ... 4 after completing
consultation.
1. Remove the instrument from the process.
2. Allow the instrument to cool to room temperature.
3. Hold the instrument steady by the case (NOT on the stem), with a screwdriver, turn
the "screw" on the end of the stem until the defined temperature difference has been
compensated (clockwise = increase, anti-clockwise = reducing the displayed value).
4. Carry out a indication correction (see chapter 5.4 "Indicator check").
