Special features
• The device is waterproof.
• The temperature display is updated every 10 seconds.
• After approx. 30 minutes the device switches itself off if it is not
switched off manually beforehand.
Safety information
• Temperature range for reference:36.0°C~38.0°C for baby's
bath water is recommended; a water temperature higher than
40°C may hurt the baby's skin.
• The thermometer is not a toy. Children should use this with
supervision of adults. The thermometer contains small parts
(batteries, etc) which could be swallowed by small children.
Please keep the thermometer and its batteries out of the reach
of small children.
• Protect the SC 1280 from direct sunshine high temperatures
and dust.
• Never drop the SC 1280 or open it (with the exception of the
battery compartment for battery replacement).
How to use
Press the 0/I button to switch on. A segment test takes place and
the thermometer shows the temperature at the sensor. The
temperature value is updated every 10 seconds. After 30 minutes
the device will automatically shut off. However, to prolong battery
life, it is best to press the 0/I button to turn off it.
