personal, fi re and environmental protection. Failure to follow the instructions of the spraying material manufacturer can lead to
serious injury.
In order to determine compatibility with the spraying materials used, a list of materials used for the construction of the tool will be
available on request.
When working with the use of compressed air, energy is stored in the entire system. Care must be taken when working and during
breaks in order to avoid the risk connected with the stored compressed air energy.
Due to the possibility of electrostatic charge build-up, measurements should be taken to ensure whether the tool needs to be
grounded, or whether a surface dissipating electrostatic charges and/or compressed air system is necessary. It is required that the
measurement and installation of such system is carried out by personnel with appropriate qualifi cations.
Never point the spray jet at a source of heat or fi re, as this may cause fi re.
Before you start work, always read the specifi cations of the construction compound you will be applying. Don't use compounds
the intended application of which is unknown. Construction compound can pose a threat to the health of the tool operator and
bystanders. See instructions for conduct in the event of compound contact with the body.
Always read the documentation enclosed with the compound tube, particularly read the part on personal protective equipment to
be used when working with construction compounds.
The extrusion gun is used only for the application of compounds in soft tubes with the capacity specifi ed in the technical data table.
Never modify the tool to fi t another type of compound tube.
Never point the compound tube outlet towards yourself, other people or animals.
Never place the tube outlet on the skin. The compound is pushed out with great force and can be injected under the skin.
Never insert fi ngers or other body parts between the piston and the tube holder. Piston pressure force can cause serious injury.
Always make sure the tool is disconnected from the power supply when replacing accessories or the compound tube or when
making adjustments. The tool is disconnected from the compressed air system.
TOOL OPERATION
Assembly of the connection to a pneumatic system
Screw a suitable nozzle to the air inlet thread fi rmly and securely to connect the air supply hose (II). The thread of the end can be
wrapped with a thin layer of PTFE tape to ensure greater tightness of the connection.
Installing the tube with compound
Warning! All installation, removal or adjustment activities related to the extrusion compound tube must be carried out with the
battery disconnected.
Warning! The outlet of the compound tube should be opened before installing the tube in the extrusion gun holder. Follow the
instructions of the tube manufacturer. The use of the extrusion gun with a closed tube can damage the extrusion gun and/or lead
to compound leakage from the piston side. In the case of soft tubes, it is usually necessary to cut off one of the tube's ends to
allow the compound to escape from the tube.
Unscrew the discharge nozzle holder and remove it from the extrusion gun body (III).
Cut off the end of the nozzle with the end of a sharp knife (IV). To avoid injury, caution is needed when cutting. The nozzle is
formed into a cone, so the more it is cut, the larger the nozzle hole. The diameter of the nozzle should be selected experimentally
according to the type of compound applied. It is best to start with a small hole and if it is necessary, enlarge it.
The piston of the tool should be pushed with the tube of compound when inserting it into the extrusion gun. No other piston
retraction is possible.
Apply the nozzle (V) to the end of the housing, then fi x it with the ring. The ring should be tightened so that the thread at the end
of the extrusion gun housing (VI) is not visible.
Connecting the tool to the compressed air system
The air supplying the tool should be cleaned of mechanical impurities and moisture. Due to the work with materials extruded from
the tube, it is not recommended to equip the power supply system with a lubricator.
If the quick-fi t (connector) supplied with the tool is used, the hose connector must be snapped onto it. The hose connector sleeve
is pulled to disconnect.
Starting and stopping the tool
The extrusion gun with the tube installed and connected to the power supply should be grasped with both hands, and the nozzle
outlet should be directed to the place of application of the compound or to a safe test container, e.g. a bucket.
Press the tool trigger and wait for the compound to start to come out of the extrusion gun nozzle. The extrusion speed can be
adjusted with the knob at the end of the housing (VIII). Turning in a clockwise direction increases the extrusion speed and turning
in a counter-clockwise direction decreases the extrusion speed.
After releasing the pressure on the trigger, the movement of the piston is stopped, but a small amount of compound can still
escape from the nozzle. This is due to the inertia forces.
