In the second step, place the grease collection tray
above it in such a manner that the that the drain ope-
ning is above the drawer.

Mount the grill plate in the next step. Ensure that the
socket fits into the recess therefore. Now fasten the
temperature display with the screw provided there-
fore to the lid of the grill.
Finally, insert the lid into the illustrated hinge. Now
you can connect the supply line. The grill is now rea-
dy for use.
Start-up
• Lift the lid.
• Only hold the lid by the heat-insulated grip!
• Wipe the grill plate lightly with a piece of kitchen
towel containing a small amount of cooking oil or
butter. Don't use low fat spread, as it may burn and
damage the surface.
• Ensure that the greases have a high smoking point.
• Close the lid.
• Put the Barbecue Grill on a dry, non-slip, even and he-
at-isolated surface or on the stand provided.
• Turn the temperaure control anticlockwise to *.

Insert the temperature control probe fully into the
socket of cooking plate and plug into a wall outlet.
• Set the temperatur control to the desired cooking
temperature.
ATTENTION! Grilling surface as well
as lid get extremely hot in operation.
There is the danger of burns and fire!
• The grill is ready to use when the thermostat lamp
switches OFF.
• Now place the desired grillables to the grill.
ATTENTION! Do not use the grilling
goods by means of tongs or forks of
metal as this will damage the
non-stick coating.
• Please exclusively use grill cutlery of wood or heat-re-
sistant plastics!
• Do not use aluminium grill pan at the grilling urface
as this will cause a dangerous development of heat.
• Please note: The thermostat lamp on the temperatu-
re control probe indicates the grill is heating up. The
lamp will remain ON until the set temperature has
reached, and then cycle ON and OFF throughout co-
oking to maintain the temperature.
• When you've finished, turn the temperature control
to *, unplug the temperature control from the pow-
er socket or extension lead, then remove it from the
power inlet on the grill.
Cleaning
• Unplug the grill and let it cool before cleaning and
storing away.
• Wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth. Use a pa-
per towel moistened with a little cooking oil to remo-
ve stubborn stains.
• Fat and juices developing during cooking are collec-
ted in the removable grease drip tray. Only remove
it in the cooled state of the rails and discard the fat.
• Wash the drip tray in warm soapy water.
• Take extra care with the non-stick cooking surfaces.
• Do not immerse the grill in water or any other liquid.
• Don't use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or sol-
vents.
• Don't use scourers, wire wool, or soap pads.
• The removable connector plug must not get in con-
tact with water. Just clean the plug by means of a
humid cloth.
