Magnification

Adjustment Ring

The versatile magnification of the SVBONY 20-60X85 ED spotting scope allows you to view a wide field of view

at a lower power, then zoom in on distant details at a higher power. Change your spotting scope's magnification

by simply turning the magnification adjustment ring.

Attach the Eyepiece

Before attaching the eyepiece, remove any covers that would prevent the eyepiece from being attached to the

spotting scope body. When the ED spotting scope is not in use, keep exterior lens covers handy to protect

exposed lenses.

• To attach the eyepiece, insert the eyepiece into the

Spotting scope body and rotate clockwise using the ribbed ring

on the eyepiece until the eyepiece is tight (stops rotating).

• To detach the eyepiece, hold the ribbed ring and turn

clockwise until tight the eyepiece counterclockwise.

Note: The eyepiece can only be rotated by the rib ring for

installation or removal.

Rotating the eyepiece with the magnification ring or eyepiece can damage the spotting scope's threads and

internal components

•Increase the magnification by turning the

adjustment ring in a counterclockwise direction.

•Decrease the magnification by turning the

adjustment ring in a clockwise direction.

Caution: Never look directly into the sun (or any other intense light) with your spotting scope. This can

permanently damage your eyes.

Adjust the Focus

After setting the magnification, some refocusing is usually required. To adjust the focus, rotate the focus dial until

images become clear.

• Slowly turn the focus dial until the subject is in focus.
