Note: if the interior hand-set is installed in addition to a monitor, the same parameter
settings must be applied.
Note: a er each configuration operation, it is necessary to disconnect the installation
temporarily for the new settings to be incorporated.
3.2 Multi-monitor/hand-set switch SW3 (81)
This switch is used to define the principle of intercommunication between the different
monitors or interior hand-sets of a single installation:
Communication between the monitors or interior hand-sets of the same apartment:
Switch no.1 = OFF on all monitors or interior hand-sets: intercommunication
between monitors or interior hand-sets with the same main
address.
The extension addresses must be different for each monitor.
Communication between monitors or interior hand-sets of different residences:
Switch no.1 = ON on all monitors or interior hand-sets: intercommunication
between the monitors or interior hand-sets of different residences.
It is possible to mix the behaviours described above by following the rules below:
To establish intercommunication between two apartments, at least the monitor or main
hand-set in each apartment (Ext. = 1) must be configured with switch no.1 = ON
During calls between monitors or hand-sets, if the monitor or hand-set placing the
call is configured with switch no.1= ON, the number of times the call button is pressed
corresponds to the address (Adr.) of the apartment called. In this case, all monitors or
hand-sets configured with switch no.1 = ON ring in the apartment house and can be used
to answer.
