Ironing without Steam
Turn the Steam control to 'O'.
Ironing with Steam
WARNING: Take care to avoid scalding
from the steam.
The amount of steam produced can be controlled
using the steam control.
1. Set the temperature control to a suitable
setting. (Note: To produce steam, the
temperature control must be set to '• •' or
higher setting.)
2. If ironing at temperature setting '• •', it is
recommended setting the steam control to '2'
to avoid water leaking from the soleplate.
Spray/Steam burst button
Push during ironing to produce extra
steam.
Max temperature setting is recommended
when using this function.
Push as required to moisten a hard-to-iron
area.
Note: Before using either button, ensure
there is enough water in the reservoir.
Anti-drip function
After ironing for long time, soleplate temperature
will drop. Steam will stop coming out automatically
and no water droplets can come out from the
soleplate.
Auto shut-off function
1. The iron will shut off automatically when:
left idle horizontally for about 30 seconds
left idle vertically for about 8 minutes
2. The power indicator light will flash and the iron
will beep to alarm.
3. If desired, you can wake up the iron by
wobbling or tilting it ≥15°.

Maintenance
• Before cleaning, always
turn off and disconnect the
appliance from the power
supply. Let it cool down
sufficiently.
• Always empty the reservoir
after use.
• Use a damp cloth to clean
the exterior and soleplate of
the appliance.
• Dry thoroughly after
cleaning.
• Store in a horizontal position
with a cloth protecting the
soleplate.
Self-cleaning function
Caterlite recommend this appliance is cleaned
every 3 months or more frequently in hard water
areas.
1. Fill the reservoir with water and switch on.
2. Set the temperature control to 'MAX'. The
power indicator light will turn On.
3. Once the indicator light is Off, hold the iron
over a sink and keep holding the steam control
at the self-cleaning position
boiling water will come out of the soleplate
while impurities and flakes will be flushed out.
4. Set the steam control to 'O' as soon as water
in the reservoir is used up.
WARNING: Never fill with white vinegar or
any other liquid cleaner!
WARNING: To keep the soleplate smooth,
never let any metal materials rub against
it!
